It’s time for our spring 2009 video conference with our students abroad. On March 24, at noon, we will meet in the FLRC for a pizza lunch and connect with four students in Germany and Austria. See the flyer for details.

Welcome back! We will open at 10am on the 20th of January, 2009. We have slightly expanded hours of operation this semester. We wish everyone a good spring term!
The FLRC is happy to be a part of this year’s PAMLA conference. The center will be open for all participants who wish to use our computer stations or learn about the use language technology at Pomona College.
We will also host one panel about language learning and technology.

The FLRC quietly opened yesterday! Come in and take a look. Construction is not completely done, but we are open Mon-Thu 10-6 and Fri 10-5.

The last work is currently being done in the FLRC, and we expect to open in mid-February. Certain services will be available before, and the student workers have begun settling into their new space. Stay tuned and check out the latest phtos on our photo site.
The new video podcast is finally available! After some technical issues (enabling the right video MIME types on the server; playing around with compression; etc.) we released episode one. Wiat for number 2 in about 2 weeks. Feedback is very welcome!
